And: Only God is Perfect.

Maybe that’s why one moment late 2017 Henk-Jan visited us
with a very special question.

It brought us another adventure!

A century old beech tree, standing in the garden of a monastery
near Den Bosch (Holland) had fallen ill so it had to be ‘removed’.

Shortly before the tree died Thich Nhat Hanh visited the monastery
and sat down under its beautiful canopy.

Henk-Jan wanted to make something special out of a part of the wonderful
beechwood.

So he brought a number of blocks and asked us to mill a text in every one.

This little wooden block contains more than 85 years.
The tree had a diameter of aprox 150 cm!

It takes a lot of milling time.
